Having run Oven Building Workshops for 10 years I had intended 2015 to be the last year but because of the number of enquiries recently received there will now be two workshops in 2016.
At a Workshop you can learn how to build one of these unique and versatile ovens. They can be used to cook authentic pizzas, to roast and grill meat, fish or vegetables, to bake wonderful bread and to make slow-cooked stews.
Many participants have gone on to build their own ovens as a focal point in their gardens and to enjoy the wonderful dishes cooked in them.
Earth Ovens are based on a vernacular tradition proven over hundreds of years and which is still found in many parts of the world and are made using sustainable, eco-friendly and easily obtainable materials.
